OUR STORY
The Green Life Support Agency idea was conceived when a south Sudanese student , Nyabol Teresa William from Bugema University was carrying out her Research on THE IMPACT OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION ON SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES in GUMBO SHIRKAT-JUBA SOUTH SUDAN in the year 2023.
During the research, moved by the desire to improve public health and support the environmental conservation, she came up with the idea of forming a NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION to curb the devastating climatic change in South Sudan.
The idea was very much welcomed by the four people she shared with, who are currently in the board of directors and it was then registered with the Government of South Sudan to help it achieve the following;
Reduce uncontrolled dumping, increase reuse and recycling, empower communities to be environmentally responsible, reduce use of environmentally harmful substance and create a healthy a urban nature.
